Research Abstract

From the viewpoint of environment conservation, they has analyzed with an experiment to grasp basics processing cooling mechanism of processing point of an air single laminar flow, heat and relation of a heat income and expenditure limit with supply air cooling in the semi-dry MQL processing or the cold-jet processing without grinding fluids, and they has confirmed by CBN grinding. Processing heat assumed by infrared rays heating apparatus is given to the work-piece. Air was supplied to the heating point with a pneumatic supply state change, and a cooling characteristic in various kinds of supply conditions was pursued. Speed of supply air became fast and temperate, processing point and cooling nature of circumference became high. In addition, a high efficiency cold-jet grinding has ground with a CBN wheel, and residual stress distribution, hardness distribution has measured. With 0.2Nm^3/min, a cold-jet of-60 degrees, high efficiency identified that cold effect the same as grinding fluids was provided with CBN grinding. Furthermore, there were drop of water mist mix in high-speed air style. Cooling inclination increase of disorder by mist addition and the top by latent heat were analyzed with fundamental experiment for a purpose. In quantity of drop of water 0.3L/h, it was about 3 times of an air single laminar flow, and I was in proportion to a quantity of drop of water, and cooling nature was effective.
However, to some extent a quantity of above-mentioned drop of water was necessary in order to raise the cooling nature.
