Research Abstract |
Granulocyte-Macrophage Colony-Stimulating Factor (GM-CSF), a cytokine being expressed in lung epithelial cells, has a major role in the immune, differentiating and inflammatory milieu of airway. We found that ETS-2 positively transactivated GM-CSF expression by protein kinase C pathway and that MEF inhibited ETS-2 binding to DNA consensus sequence (GGAA) in the GM-CSF promoter.
