反射計イメージングによるプラズマ揺動の可視化に関する研究

Research Abstract

1.筑波大学ガンマ10装置で稼働中のミリ波二次元イメージング(撮像)装置の高信頼化を図り,ヘテロダイン干渉計としての位相イメージング,ヘテロダイン受信機としてのECEイメージングの同一ショットでの測定が常時可能となった。これは,反射計イメージング測定の基礎となるものである。
2.反射波信号のイメージング測定のためミリ波の幅広い帯域で動作する検出器アレイが重要となる。アンテナ,ショットキーバリアダイオード,中間周波数アンプが一体化したモノリシック検出器の設計・製作を企業研究機関との協力で推進した。ヘテロダイン応答テストが70-140GHzの領域で行われ,中間周波数1-10GHzの広帯域特性を確認した。これは,従来使用していたハイブリッド検出器と比較して,約1桁の向上となる。現在幾度かの検出器パターン検討により多チャンネル化の見通しが得られている。
3.平成12年度より,ミリ波イメージング装置を核融合科学研究所大型ヘリカル装置(LHD)に適用するべく,回転楕円鏡および平面ミラーから構成される準光学結像系を設計・製作した。設計には光線追跡計算が利用されている。エアリーパターンの測定にも成功し,理論値に良く一致する収差の少ない光学系が実現していることを証明した。
4.LHDでは電子サイクロトロン(ECE)イメージングと反射計イメージングを同時に稼働させることを目標とし,反射計入力を光学系に同軸に導入するための,ダイクロイック・ビームスプリッターの設計を行い,現在製作中である。
5.揺動信号の画像解析のための,データ収集,データ解析ソフトの検討を行った。
