The Heisei 11 fiscal year, about three points of paddy field areas were selected, and extraction and analysis of the atmosphere, soil, and a fishes sample were performed. The Heisei 12 fiscal year, expansion of an investigation zone and more detailed investigation in a specific zone were conducted simultaneously. The Heisei 13 fiscal year, while carrying out the atmosphere of a city region and a forest region, and analysis of soil, in accordance with the land use results of an investigation in an area, development of the dioxin environmental fate forecasting model in local environment was tackled. 1) About the atmosphere - soil system, it analyzed in the paddy field by extracting a sample in spring, summer, and autumn for grasp of a seasonal variation. l, the paddy field area of a closing system was selected from the number area's as an investigation contrast zone, and outflow/concentration was investigated more precisely. Improvement for applying the simple tools of analysis developed so far on the occasion of analysis of a water sample was also performed. Moreover, river water was extracted in the upstream of a river - the middle class region, and analysis of these samples was also perforned. Moreover, calculation of the dioxin outflow load field unit fron a paddy field region and the outflow load model were created based on results of an investigation. 3) The rice on paddy field soil was analyzed. It separated into straw, chaff, rice bran, and policed rice, and the sample was analyzed. Improvement for applying the simple tools of analysis developed so far on the occasion of analysis of a crop sample was also performed. Much knowledge about environmental fate of the dioxin in the local environnent, which made Ishikawa Prefecture (especially Saigawa) the model, was acquired fron these research results. Moreover, prediction became to sone extent possible about the future concentration of the dioxin in local environnent by development of the environnental fate forecasting nodel combined with the dioxin outflow load model.
