| Research Abstract |
KTeVは1996年10月から1997年9月まで一回目のデータ収集を行った。そこで得たデータから、今年度は次の結果を得た。
BR(K_L→π^0ee)<5.1x10^<-10>(90%CL)PRL86,397(2001).
BR(K_L→π^0μμ)<3.8x10^<-10>(90%CL)PRL84,5279(2000).
BR(K_L->eeγγ;Eγ^*>5MeV)=(5.84+-0.15+-0.32)x10-7(preliminary),submitted to PRD.
BR(K_L→μμγ)=(3.66±0.04±0.07)x10^<-7>(preliminary),submitted to PRL.
BR(K_L→μμγγ)=(10.4^<+7.5>_<-5.9>±0.7)x10^<-9>PRD62,11201(2000).
BR(K_L→eeee)=(3.72±0.18±0.23)x10^<-8>(preliminary),submitted to PRL.
BR(K_L→π^0eeγ)=(2.34±0.35±0.13)x10^<-8>(preliminary),submitted to PRL.
BR(K_L→ππγ)/BR(K_L→ππ)=(20.8±0.3)x10^<-3>,a1/a2=-0.737±0.034GeV^2,PRL86,761(2001).
BR(Ξ^-→Σ_γ)=(3.34±0.05±0.09)x10^<-3>,decay asymmetry a=-0.63±0.09,accepted by PRL.
これでKTeVからの発表論文は16編になるが、一回目のデータ収集からさらに10編以上の論文が予定されている。
また、1999年5月より2000年1月まで、2回目のデータ収集を行った。これにより、E799は稀崩壊の感度を約3倍に上げた。またE832はε′/εについては1回目と同じ統計量のデータを得、また低いビーム強度など様々なsystematic studiesを行った。また、800GeVの陽子による実験の終了後、150GeVの陽子を現在の標的に当て、中性子とK中間子のレートとエネルギースペクトルを調べるデータを収集した。
