Research Abstract

非対称希薄磁性半導体量子井戸での励起子磁気ポーラロンの研究
希薄磁性半導体量子構造での磁気光学効果を説明するのにモデル計算を行い界面磁化の特異性、磁性非磁性局在、非対称励起子磁気ポーラロン局在、励起子分岐の問題について解明した。
希薄磁性量子井戸での高圧磁性光学効果
希薄磁性半導体量子井戸での高圧強磁場磁気発光測定から、半導体荷電子帯正孔と局在磁気イオンとの交換相互作用機構をp-d混在、d-d間距離との関連で明らかにした。また、簡単なモデル計算と磁気光学測定から量子井戸ヘテロ界面磁化の検出法を提案した。ヘテロ界面磁化特異性とそこでの交換相互作用の圧力による増大を示した。p-d混成に起因する交換相互作用と系の次元性(3次元から2次元)との関連も明らかになりつつある。
励起子分子と超高速スピン緩和
化合物半導体や希薄磁性半導体量子井戸での励起子分子状態を見出し、その超高速時間分解分光(縮退四光波混合)により励起子分子生成、緩和過渡家庭を明らかにした。特にスピン3重項励起子分子状態が過渡的に現れ、スピン緩和が励起子分子の動的過程に大きく関与していることを示した。励起子分子の磁場効果にもついても知見を得つつある。
非対称ゼーマン分裂
希薄磁性半導体で見られる非対称なゼーマン分裂について理論的考察を行い、磁性イオン内励起状態と励起子の共鳴状態が起因しているという可能性を示し、これを実証できる測定を提案した。
