| Research Abstract |
「東シナ海および黄海の環境と生物に関する研究」は長崎大学と韓国・済州大学校との大学間協定に基づく国際共同研究である.本研究の目的は東シナ海と黄海での健全なる漁業資源の保全と育成を目指し,そのための基礎情報として海洋環境の解明と生物分布の把握を目的としている.今年度は11月に中国・上海水産大学で開催された長崎大学水産学部,琉球大学理学部,韓国・済州大学校海洋科学大学,中国・上海水産大学の四大学による「第3回東シナ海の海洋学と水産学に関するワークショップ」に長崎大学から2名,済州大学校から4名が参加し、この共同研究で得た成果を報告した.これらの論文は"The East China Sea, Volume 3;Proceedings of the 3^<rd> International Workshop on Oceanography and Fisheries in the East China Sea"に公表された.
また,今年度はこの研究の最終年度であったので,両校のこれまでの研究成果の整理と今後の研究活動の進め方について長崎大学水産学部で協議した.
また長崎大学側では,2001年5月、6月、10月に東シナ海陸棚斜面及びその近傍の海洋構造とプランクトン分布の把握を目的とした調査航海を長崎大学水産学部附属練習船「鶴要丸」と「長崎丸」によって実施した.済州大学校側では2001年9月に済州-台湾間の海洋観察を行った.
更に長崎大学からは8月に韓国・釜慶大学校,海洋・環境科学大学の研究者と,2月に韓国・麗水大学校、海洋科学大学の研究者と韓国沿岸海域や東シナ海の動植物プランクトン,干潟環境等についての研究協議を行った.
