Research Abstract |
This research was done from 1999 (H.11) to 2001 (H.13), aimed at follow points : (1) Excavation and collection of various regional resources (natural, artificial, cultural, geographical) from various regions in Chiba Prefecture ; (2) An investigation of more effective methodology of regional resources, which mentioned above, from interdisciplinary standpoint ; (3) Developing the regions by returning the result of both studies ; (1) and (2). In this year, when this research becomes the third year of, using network system (メpotential regional resources data baseモ) which constructed in 1999 (H.11) using world-wide-web (www) of internet, and through interactive information exchange concerning utilizing regional resources with local governments, enterprises, and inhabitants in Chiba Prefecture, this research is arranged a practical proposal for regional development, established the process, and attempted to embody it. Principally this research contents of as follows : (1) The planning of formation for amenity view attempted to harmonize natural view and artificial view in the sea and mountains (2) The construction of modern utilizing method of メstrawモ as potential regional resource for creation of living space (3) The making of endogenous community which practice re-discovery, preservation, regeneration and transmission of cultural resources of Chiba Prefecture (4) The proposal for method of practical utilization of メgreen energyモ the force of the wind and solar power (5) The construction of mathematical model of wave movement in the seaside and tideland, and technology development of coastal environment protection by numerical simulation way, and so on In this study, various potential regional resources in Chiba Prefecture were grasped, analyzed and valuated systematically, and consideration for regional development was developed. This consideration has closely relationships with methodology of regional development in Japan and various foreign countries.
