Research Abstract |
Cervical vertigo after whiplash injury is hard to diagnose it due to be hardly presented of imaging diagnosis. It is even sometimes treated as a mental disease. We challenged to performe the new neuro-rehabilitation for the cervical vertigo after whiplash injury. The rehabilitation are composed by eye movement rehabilitation, neck movement rehabilitation and positional changing rehabilitation. The movement may induce the recovery of vestibular disfunction. 90% of 20 patients were recovered the vertigo well. However, one patient was hard to continue the rehabilitation due to the hard vertigo. In conclusion, previously the cervical vertigo of whipash injury was sometimes treated as rest as possible. We suggested that the early rehabilitation could induce the early recover the vertigo.
