Research Abstract

擬似乱数の生成の最近の話題として、杉田により、極限分布として独立性が保証されればよいとの理論が提唱された。しかし、一次元カオスの中には、適当な分割を選べば最初から独立性が保証される系が存在する。しかし、計算機が有限ビットのレジスター(あるいは記憶容量)しか持たないことから、真の乱数としては利用出来ないのは当然である。
しかしながら、レジスターのビット数が無限大になる極限として独立性が保証できるので、杉田と同じ思想の下で考察可能である。この観点から、幾つかの無理数勾配を持つ区分的線形写像とそれに適合した分割を選定して、乱数としての効用を検証した。
その研究過程に関連して、那須はTextile SystemsとOnesided Cellular Automataの研究を行い、Workshop on Dynamics and Randomnessで成果を発表した。同じく、島はnested fractal上のランダム現象を研究し公表した。
中田は,グラフ上に配置された分散合意問題のランダムアルゴリズムの考察を行い、特に確率的局所多数決法に関する成果を香港および東京で開催された国際会議で発表した。
久保は、グラフ上のランダムウォークのカバータイムの評価の研究を行い、IEEEに投稿中である。それに、上記のような擬似乱数生成を調べるとともに、それを利用して、ここに述べたような、問題のシュミレーションに応用している。
