Research Abstract	研究の準備のための会議として12年8月8日にそれぞれの計画とともに相互の共同研究のすすめかたを計画班員全員で日本医科大学においておこなった。また研究開始の進捗状況の全体的な把握と研究成果の発表の討論のため、平成12年12月22日(午後1時より5時半まで)日本医科大学図書館視聴覚教室において総括班会議および全体会議を開催した。出席者は評価委員2名(京極好正委員、新井賢一委員)および計画研究代表者(計画研究代表者:青野重利、石浜明、岩井裕子、小林一男、斉藤正男、中村寛夫、西野武士、箱嶋敏男、丸義朗、以上9名)全員および分担研究者3名(石森浩一郎、阿部靖子、松村智裕)およびオブザバーとしてそれぞれ研究室の若手研究者(大学院生、ポストドク)が参加した。本研究領域は分子生物学者、生化学者、物理化学者、細胞生物学者等のそれぞれ異なる手法をもった研究者による共同研究であるため、個別の具体的結果について様々な角度からそれぞれ意見が出され、内容の深い活発な討論の場となった。評価委員からはその特徴と班員構成の良さがコメント評価としてなされた。12年度の成果(計画の目的、主な成果、発表論文、表紙になった論文等の資料)はニュースレター(現在編集中)として印刷製本し、3月上旬に広く配付する予定である。また総括班員として情報収集と研究成果の発表のため西野(インド)石浜(フランス)石森(米国)へ海外派遣した。なお、公開シンポジウムは13年の6月8、9日京都で開催予定である。
