Research Abstract |
This research project consists of the reports presented by investigators and guest speakers at research meetings paralleled with the active gathering of literature materials. During the term of project, twenty-one research meetings were held with a total of twenty eight reports presented. Subjects were not limited to aesthetics but stretched to philosophy, literature and musicology, Through this research, one can see a breakthrough toward a new stage of understanding of modern Japanese aesthetics in the Meiji-taisho era The papers in this report, as listed below, are the fruits of this ardent study.
