Research Abstract |
With an aim of development for new functions of superconducting electric power equipment, we proposed Superconducting Fault Current Limiting Transformer(SFCLT) and extended our research from both theoretical and experimental approach. 1.Theoretical simulation of SECLT to introduce power system introduction effect of 500kV/275kV SFCLT into power system was simulated under the coudition of 3-phase short circuit. Phase angle characteristics, short-circuit current, high voltage and thermal characteristics were discussed and optimum paramenters were obtained. 2.Experiment of model SFCLT According to the theoretical simulation results, 1 /1000 scale model SFCLT was designed and fabricated with 275 V/105V, 6.25kVA ratings. In addition, the experimental model was introduced into the Transient Network Analyzer and the conbined functions of SFCLT were confirmed. Through these theoretical and experimental discussions, we could have sufficient characteristics of SFCLT with both functinus of fault current supperession and system stability improvement.
