Research Abstract	(1)マルチクラス環境下におけるトラヒック監視および優先制御機構に関する研究マルチクラストラヒックを取り扱うための優先制御機構を備えたネットワークにおいて,ネットワークに流入するトラヒックが利用者の申請帯域以上であるか否かを判定(トラヒック監視)する機構,判定結果に応じてパケットのヘッダにマーク付けを行う機構,パケット処理方式のそれぞれの機構に関する方式の提案およびその特性評価を行った.その際,待ち行列理論による解析およびシミュレーション実験を用いて,提案する機構を用いた場合のサービス品質を明らかにした. さらに,サービス品質をネットワークの外部から計測および推定するための手法について新たな手法を提案し,その有効性について検証した. (2)マルチクラス環境下における経路制御機構に関する研究マルチクラス環境に適用可能な経路制御技術として,TCPトラヒック等のベストエフォートトラヒックを考慮しかつ,実時間フローに対して最大限効率よく帯域を割り当てることが可能な経路制御手法に関する研究を行った.複数クラスのトラヒックを考慮するために,仮想的な残余帯域を導入し,この仮想残余帯域を経路選択時のコストパラメータとして使用することによって得られる特性について,シミュレーションおよび実験ネットワークを利用した評価によって明らかにした. また,優先度の高いトラヒックを受け入れる際に,ネットワーク内の既存トラヒックの経路を再配置することによって効率良く網資源を利用し,より多くのトラヒックを収容可能とするようなフロー再配置手法に関する検討を行い,その特性を評価した.
