Research Abstract |
Cellular responses to cold-acclimation have not yet been studied in depth. To explore this field, we focussed on Bombyx embryonic diapause development. Gene expression for sorbitol dehydrogenase, Seven-up, glycerol kinase and Samui were examined in diapause eggs exposed to low temperatures. 5℃ induced gene expression for sorbitol dehydrogenase, Seven-up and Samui, but not for glycerol kinase.
