Research Abstract

There is a subject to solve in the present weeding work. This research proposes the precise weeding system which doesn't use a herbicide. It is how to do control of weeds without giving an environment a bad influence.
This research tried to contribute to the continuous biological production. This year was the final year, and the experiment of the cutting condition and a summary were done.
1. Relationship between cutting effect and pump pressure
Cutting was often done as much as pump pressure was high. And, the range that it was suitable for every pump pressure existed in the cutting position. The range showed a tendency of going away as much as it was as close as the high pressure to the nozzle and it became low pressure.
2. The most suitable direction of water jet beam for cutting weed plant
As for the beam direction of water jet as well, it was an important parameter. It was found out that effect was high when it was cut in the range in the jetting direction 30°to 45 °toward weed plant body.
3. Relative speed between water jet nozzle and weed plant
Though a relative speed was changed, an influence on cutting effect didn't get clear. It guessed the reason that cutting was done momentarily.
