Research Abstract |
We assessed bactericidal effect of anode water made from ultra pure water using 3-baths type electrolysis apparatus. (1) In vitro bactericidal effect of acidic or neutral anode water against E.coli, Serratia marcescens, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus MRSA, Staphylococcus epidermidis, VRE, BCG, and Bacillus subtilis was assessed. Both waters showed complete bactericidal effect. (2) Effect of blood on the bactericidal effect of acid or neutral anode water. Both waters' bactericidal effect was canceled after mixture with blood.
