Research Abstract	人間の色彩感覚の数量的解析,特に,基本的な色彩感覚を表現する感性語(カラーイメージ語)の収集とその言葉によって表現される印象や感情について,視感評価実験を通して比較・検討を行った. 具体的には,以下の内容を行った. 1.感性語(カラーイメージ語)の選定各実験国で価値観のともなわない基本的な感性語の対語12種を選定した. 2.色サンプルと色の測定色空間全域にわたる218色を用意した.色の光学測定も同時に行った. 3.視感評価実験標準光源下(D65)で視感評価を行った.被験者は各国50人程度.一昨年度からこれまでに,日本,香港,タイ,イギリス,台湾,スペインの実験結果が得られた. 4.データ解析視感評価結果を比較し,各国での印象評価の差異などについて解析・考察し,異種文化圏間で類似した色彩感覚や,逆に,色彩感覚の程度が異なるものなど,いくつかの知見を得た. 5.研究のまとめ各国での実験結果を持ちより,プロジェクト最終年度の研究総括を行った. なお,研究の遂行にあたっては,異種文化圏間での色彩感覚の差異について検討するために,いくつかの言語を用い,その言語にネイティブな被験者によって視感評価実験を行う必要があることや,また,これまでに行っている研究の進行状況が各国の研究機関で異なるため,海外と日本の研究グループとの間で実験に対する共通認識を持つこと,ならびに実験結果について同時に解析・討議することを目的として,相互訪問やE-メイルで討議を繰り返した.特に今年度は研究プロジェクトの最終年度にあたるため,タイにおいて公開のコンファレンスを主宰し,各国のメンバーが研究成果を発表すると同時に,海外共同研究者も含めメンバー全員が一堂に会した研究の総括に向けての討論も行った.
