Research Abstract |
【○!1】 We have identified more than 10000 SNPs in all HLA region (Chromosome 6) and have designed 160 sets of the primers for typing the SNPs by SSP (Sequence Specific Primer) method. 【○!2】 We have studied polymorphism of KIR (Killer Immunoglobulin-like Receptor) gene (Chromosome 19) and identified 24 genes and 9 haplotypes including 2 new genes and 7 new haplotypes. 【○!3】 We have collected 100 DNA samples of each of healthy Japanese, Rheumatoid Arthritis-patients and pollen allergy-patients with informed consent, and typed 160 SNPs in HLA region. The datas are started to analyse. 【○!4】 We have studied the detection methods of SNPs using DNA chips and found that M13 tailed labelling method made a more clear and correct results. 【○!5】 We have examined the application of SNPs in HLA region, KIR genes and ABO genes for paternity test and found that they made high percentage of paternity. We are going to find more SNPs in more chromosomes for paternity test or personal identification.
