| Research Abstract |
平成14年度は試作したステントを目的臓器へ挿入するためのdeliveryの開発と、生物学的安全性の検討を行った。記憶金属の拡張処理後にもとの小さな形状にもどして、小さな筒状のdeliveryに格納することは容易でなく、低温処理、マウント工具の開発に時間がかかった。この技術もようやく解決のめどがたち、ステントがマウントされた状態の試作品が完成した。
自己拡張型である利点を生かすべき柔らかで、且つスムーズな挿入可能なdeliveryの試作を行った。総合的に我々の開発したステントの物理的特性を引っ張り試験、曲げ試験などを行いやわらかな特徴であることを確認した。
さらに、生体安全性試験として、生犬の腸骨動脈にステントを留置して、既存のステントの比較実験を行った。
また、予備実験の短期成績で有意な内膜肥厚抑制効果を認め、長期の良好な成績も期待されると思われる。
研究成果はInnwevision17;9,2002、に公表しInternational Congress of Radiology 2002 (Mexico)にて発表(Certificate of Merit賞を受賞)、さらに日本IVR学会でシンポジウムにても成果を発表予定である。
