| Research Abstract |
本年度は最初の年度であるので、次の3点に焦点をしぼり、基盤作りに活動を集約した。i)全体集会で各分野の関心とトピックの意見交換を行った。(協力者の範囲は数学・確率論から心理学まで、理論から応用まで広くひろがっているのが本研究の特徴である)。ii)「バーチャル」概念につき、インターネットでイメージを交換する。今年は初年度でもあるので、集約の方向に持っていくのは来年度以降とする。研究論文中心(e-ジャーナル)、教育中心(遠隔教育)、リンク集中心(アメリカの統計教育)、画像技術中心(モデル・コンテンツシート)、「一般世間」中心(マーケット・リサーチ講習会をWEB化する)など多くのイメージが表れた。iii)ハードウェアの購入・整備の促進。「コンテンツ・シート」作成という点でも、一般に経験・知識・予算制約の差が見られる。本年はコンピュータ、スキャナ、デジタル・カメラ、音声入力装置、マイク、カセットなどの必要設備を最小限整備した。ただし、これらの統一規格化、電子会議場化にむけては来年度以降とする。
コンテンツ・シートの内容は、i)ブートストラップ、ジャックナイフ、モンテカルロ法、MCMCなどのコンピュータ・集約型の統計手法の解説ii)ノンパラメトリック統計学など、分布を中心とする数理統計学の汎用統計教育サイト、iii)調査法などのe-セミナータイプなどが上げられている。
研究成果として論文、講習会資料、リンク集、コンテンツ・マテリアル、解説書出版などが得られた。本年度としてはこれの収集をもって成果とするが、来年度早々、これを有機的に結合し、夏休み前までにはプロトタイプの作成を行い、WEB化してゆく予定である。
