| Research Abstract |
〔黄道光観測実施)
平成15年2月27日から3月4日にかけて、ハワイ・マウナケア山頂において、冷却CCDカメラ(WIZARD)による黄道光観測を実施した。今回は天候に恵まれ、かつ観測装置も順調に働いた。夕方の黄道光と、夜半の対日照について上質のデータが得られた。これらのデータから、黄道光の対称面の季節変化、対日照の輝度中心の季節変化を求め、塵雲の空間構造の解析を続けている。
(研究実績の報告)
○平成14年8月にハワイで開かれたSPIE (Astronomical Telescopes and Instrumentation (Waikoloa, Hawaii. USA)で、新規開発した黄道光カメラの発表を行った。
○木曾天文台のシュミット望遠鏡を用いた黄道光観測を実施し、彗星軌道に沿った塵雲の集積(ダスト・トレイル)を、可視光で始めて観測することに成功した。結果はAp. J. Letter 572,L117-120,2002に掲載された。
○前景となるダストバンドの影響を受けて、対日照の輝度中心の位置が違った場所に現われることを明らかにした。その結果、星雲の空間構造モデルを検討するために、対日照観測を継統する必要が有ることを示した。結果はIcarus,2003 (in press)となっている。
○IAU Colloquium 181/Cospar Colloquium15で発表していた5編の論文が、Pergamonから2002年に刊行された、Dust in the solar system and other Planetary systems (eds. S.F.Green et al.)に集録された。
