Research Abstract |
In Japan, The official curriculum guidelines says that every school must make an original school curriculum according to each situation of local community and children. But, in fact, many Japanese schools doesn't make an original school curriculum. In Aichi prefecture, that is known very strictly controlled by education authority, what we called "local curriculum" (for example, Chita-Curriculum, Ainichi-Curriculum, and so on) is made in many districts. And every school is strictly controlled by that further than the official curriculum guidelines. In contrast, in Hokkaido prefecture, Soya-district, every school must make an original school curriculum according to each situation of local community and children. There are palpable difference between these areas. That is, first, understanding about what is a curriculum, second, whether or not making a curriculum is set as fundamental problem of each school.
