| Research Abstract |
Double bound graphは、グラフの観点からはedge clique coverが、posetの観点からはintervalが、各々密接に関係していることがわかった。Intervalの立場からposetを調べることにより、同じdouble bound graphを持つposet間の変換が得られ、double bound graphの一意性に関する結果を得た。これらの変換を、詳細に検討することにより、同じdouble bound graphを持つposetの族のminimum poset及びmaximal posetの特徴付けが得られた。このposetの族を距離の概念から検討し、直径及び半径等に関する様々な性質が解明できた。特に半径に関しては、極値的なグラフの特徴付けが得られた。
また、グラフ演算(sum、middle graph、total graph、corona、Cartesian product、composition、normal product、conjunction等)の観点からdouble bound graphを捉え様々な結果を得た。
また、極大でないcliqueに関する観点からdouble bound graphやsemi bound graphを捉えることにより、cliqueとposetのinterval、order ideal等との関係が解明でき、double bound graphやsemi bound graphの新たな特徴付けが得られた。これらの行列論的特徴付けにより各種bound graphの判定基準が得られ、アルゴリズム論的側面への寄与ができた。
さらに、posetに関するgraphに辺の多重性を許すことによってposetの性質をより反映したmultigraph、すなわちdouble bound multigraphが得られた。このgraphに関する研究を行い、double bound multigraphの特徴付けを得た。
