Research Abstract	1.研究目的ユーザに広く受け入れられるITSの実現には,人にやさしい(信頼される)ヒューマンインタフェースが不可欠である.この研究では,そのための要素技術(ドライバ状態監視技術,情報提示技術,個体差対応技術)を開発し,これらの技術を盛り込んだ車載情報提示システムによってその有効性を検証する. 2.本年度の実施内容とその成果 1)ドライバ状態監視技術 (1)ドライバの居眠り検知動画像処理によるまばたきの閉眼時間変化から意識レベルを推定する方法を開発した. (2)脇見の検知脇見検知に必要な視線(顔の向きと視線)の方向を実時間で計測する方法を開発した. (3)意識集中の検知動画像処理による視線の2次元分布から意識集中を検知する方法を開発した. 2)情報提示技術 (1)視認性の高い表示ユーザの視力を考慮した高齢者にも見やすい表示方法を開発した. (2)緊急性の高い表示視覚と聴覚による車の緊急度とドライバの意識度に応じた警報表示方法を開発した. (3)理解しやすい表示男女の空間認知の特性の違いに注目し,女性にわかりやすい経路案内方法を開発した. これらの技術(個体差対応技術も含む)を組み込んだ情報提示システムを提案し,実験室における検証実験によってその有効性を検証した. これら一連の成果は,関連の学会(IEEE ITSC2002,ITS世界会議,画像の認識・理解シンポジウム(MIRU2002),自動車技術会2002春季大会など)で発表された. また,この研究成果の一部は,平成13〜15年度のNEDOの地域新生コンソシアム「ヒューマンセンタードITSピューエイドシステム」(プロジェクトリーダ:山本新)に生かされている.
