強力集束超音波と微細気泡を用いた非侵襲腫瘍治療技術のための数理的研究

Research Abstract

前年度の成果を受けて、本年度は、超音波と気泡を併用した低侵襲腫瘍治療技術開発に向けた基盤の構築を主眼におき、以下の4点を遂行した : (1)多数の気泡を含む水中における弱非線形音響波伝播を記述する、非線形波動方程式群(KdV-Burgers方程式・非線形Schrodinger方程式)の数値解析を行った。有限差分波形を描き、非線形性・分散性・散逸性の競合に対する定量的理解を得て、そのボイド率依存性を明らかにした ; (2)気泡壁近傍の局所的高圧を記述可能である点に特長を有する気泡流の平均化モデル方程式系(Egashira, Yano & Fujikawa, 2004)の固有値解析を行った。運動量保存則の相関輸送項に組み込まれる付加慣性力の表式が、モデル方程式の数学的適切性に強く寄与することを証明した ; (3)マイクロオーダの脂質気泡造影剤を治療増感剤に用いることを目指して、気泡群が壊れないような低強度の集束超音波を用いて、音場の基礎的な計測を行った ; (4)リング型トランスデューサを用いた超音波トモグラフィにおいて、屈折を考慮した音速再構成法の検討を行った。
以上のとおり、気泡力学と音響学が絡み合う多様な系における、多様な観点および手法をとおした成果の創出とは、技術開発へと資する基盤創成に他ならない。今後は、腫瘍治療技術の設計に向けて、これらの成果群を統合することに力を注ぐ。
