Research Abstract	数理生物学で現れる代表的な力学系の諸性質を総合的に解析することが本研究の目的である.本年の実績は,以下のようにまとめられる. (1)5月29-30日に数理生物学における力学系をテーマに共同研究集会「数理生物学における力学系の総合的研究」を開催し,今後3年間で解決すべき課題とその方法に関して討議を行った.なお共同研究集会のプログラムとアブストラクトは本力学系グループのホームページのhttp://yoake.sys.eng.shizuoka.ac.jp/~hase/rikigaku/index.htmで公開されている.共同研究集会には個体群数理生物学と進化ゲームにおける世界的権威者であるウイーン大学数学科教授のHofbauerを含め約100人の参加が得られた. (2)7月8-19日海外共同研究者であるイタリアのウルビノ大学教授が主催する数理生物学ヨーロッパサマーセミナー「生理学と医学における力学系」に組織委員として参加し,医学分野における力学系研究の現状と問題点を交流した.参加者は日本人を含め約50人であった. (3)12月17-20日と、「The Theory of the Chemostatをイッキ読みする合宿セミナー」を開催し,The Theory of the Chemostat : Dynamics of Microbial Competition, (Cambridge Studies in Mathematical Biology), Hal L. Smith(著),Paul E. Waltman(著)を20人の参加者で読破した.単調力学系とケモスタットを調べることにより,現実の湖(佐鳴湖)の水質改善問題に適応する出発点と.した. (4)1月15-16日と岡山大学環境理工学部で研究集会「環境と数理科学」を開催した.来年度は(1)(2)での成果を発展させるため,静岡大学で国際シンポジューム「Dynamical Systems Theory and Its Applications to Biology and Environmental Sciences:力学系理論と生物学・環境科学への応用」を3月14日-17日と開催する予定である.本シンポジュームは外国から約30人を含め100人規模のものを計画している.また(3)は静大内部において佐鳴湖プロジェクトを発足させる予定である.
