| Research Abstract |
周期表で第3周期以降の典型元素を含む多重結合の化合物は、その多重結合の原子間距離が長く、また、軌道の広がりが大きいため、いわゆるπ軌道の有効な重なりがあまり期待できない。さらに、高周期典型元素は混成軌道を形成しにくいことなどから、従来、このような多重結合化合物は不安定であるとされてきた。しかし、近年、かさ高い置換基を分子内に組み込むことにより、その強力かつ有効な立体保護効果を利用して、いわゆる不安定化学種を速度論的に安定化できることが明らかになってきた.本研究は、例えば2,4,6-トリ-t-ブチルフェニル基など、大きな立体保護効果を示す置換基に着目して、2配位や1配位の低配位状態にあるリン原子をもつ化学種の発生と単離・同定を試み、それらの構造を、NMRやX線結晶構造解析などから明らかにすることを目的とする.新規ジホスフェン、ジホスファアレン、ジホスファブタジエンなどの合成に有用な、ビリジルやチエニル基を有する置換基を開発した.一方、ホスファアルキンにアルキルリチウムを低温で反応させ、ハロゲン化アルキルでクエンチしたところ、分子内環化反応が進行し、1,3-ジホスファシクロブタン-2,4-ジイルが生成することを見いだした.空気中、室温でも安定なビラジカル誘導体である.また、2-ハロ-1,3-ジホスファプロペン、及びその3-スルフィド、2-メチル誘導体の遷移金属錯体を合成した.これらパラジウム錯体は、ジホスフィニデンシクロブテンと同様、カップリング反応などの触媒として有効に作用することがわかった.
