| Research Abstract |
1)かさ高い2,6-dimesitylphenyl(Dmp)基で保護されたジチアジゲルメタンジチオールを合成し,2モル当量のn-BuLiでリチオ化した後,種々の遷移金属種とのクラスター化を行った。M(dppe)Cl_2(M=Ni,Pd)やNi(PPh_3)_2Br_2との反応から,二つの末端チオラート部位に第10族遷移金属原子が結合したGe_2MS_4クラスターを単離した。一方,Pd(PPh_3)_2Br_2との反応ではホスフィン1分子が解離し,Pdが3つの硫黄原子と結合したGe_2MS_4クラスターが生成した。ジチアジゲルメタンジチオラートと[Ru(benzene)Cl_2]_2から得られる[Dmp_2Ge_2S_4]Ru(benzene)にTfOHを作用させると,Ge_2Ru_2S_4キュバンクラスターが構築され,Mo(CH_3CN)_3(CO)_3を反応させるとオープンキュバン構造をもつクラスター[Dmp_2Ge_2S_4]Ru(benzene)Mo(CO)_3が構築された。
2)以前,(Cp^*Mo)_2(FeCl)_2S_4キュバンクラスターがLi_2S_2と反応してS_4(2-)が架橋した環状トリスキュバンクラスター[(Cp^*Mo)_2(FeCl)_2S_4]_3(S_4)_3を与えることを報告した。同様の反応をLi_2S_2で行うと,硫黄単原子S(2-)が架橋した環状トリスキュバンクラスター[(Cp^*Mo)_2(FeCl)_2S_4]_3(S)_3が得られた。[(Cp^*Mo)_2(FeCl)_2S_4]_3(S_4)_3ではキュバン内のFe-Fe結合が切断されると同時に,キュバン間にFe-Fe結合が生成する。ところが,新たに合成した[(Cp^*Mo)_2(FeCl)_2S_4]_3(S)_3ではキュバン間Fe-Fe結合が保持され,3つのFe-(μ-S)-Fe角が大きく異なった歪んだ環状キュバン構造をとる。[(Cp^*Mo)_2(FeCl)_2S_4]_3(S)_3はS_8と容易に反応して[(Cp^*Mo)_2(FeCl)_2S_4]_3(S_4)_3に変換され,逆に[(Cp^*Mo)_2(FeCl)_2S_4]_3(S_4)_3はPPh_3によって脱硫されて[(Cp^*Mo)_2(FeCl)_2S_4]_3(S)_3となる。
