| Research Abstract |
(1)有限体上の特殊線形群SLn(*)に関するLusztigの予想を証明した.この予想は有限筒約群G(*)の既約指標を計算する一般的なアルゴリズムを与えるもので「概指標と指標層の特性関数がスカラー倍を除いて一致する」という形を取る.Gの中心が連結な場合,代表者によって示されていた.SLn(*)は中心が非連結な代数群であり,Shintani descentの理論により,Lusztig予想が示された.又,予想に表れるスカラーも決定できる.この結果により,SLn(*)の既約指標を求めるアルゴリズムが完全に得られる.
(2)K.Sorlinとの共同研究で,SLn(*)/SLn(*)に関するSLn(*)の置換表現の既約表現への分解が得られた.この結果も,中心が非連結な群への始めての拡張である.Shintani descentの理論との興味深い関係も得られた.
