Research Abstract	本研究課題は3年間にわたるので、まず初年度には研究の現状の整理と課題の明確化のために研究会を開催した。研究会では分担者を中心としたレビューを中心として活発な議論が行われれ、各分担者の進めている研究課題の相互関係、共通する概念や物理過程について理解を深め、以後の研究の展開の基礎を固めることができた。降着円盤については、角運動量輸送機構が磁気回転不安定に伴う乱れた磁場の効果によることが数値シミュレーションにより定量的に明らかにされるとともに、円盤の構造には移流、対流、円盤風などの流れの効果が大きな影響をもつことも明らかになってきた。相対論的ジェットは活動銀河核だけでなく、連星X線星やガンマ線バーストでも存在することが明らかになりつつある。ジェットの物理的性質の研究、ファイアボールモデルによる相対論的な流れの形成の研究が進展し、これらの天体の間の共通性が認識されてきた。ジェットのエネルギー源は降着円盤のエネルギー解放によるものと考えられるが、ジェット形成を考慮した降着円盤の理論、あるいは降着円盤の構造と整合的なジェット形成の研究が大きな課題として浮かび上がってきた。パルサーと中性子星の研究、銀河円盤や銀河団の高温プラズマ中の非熱的粒子や磁場にかかわる理論的研究も観測の急速な進展とともに、理論研究も大きな展開を見せつつある。これらの高エネルギー現象に共通する粒子加速機構についても、数値シミュレーションによる衝撃波の内部構造によるサーフィン加速の効果、磁気再結合における加速を中心に研究の進展があった。これらの効果を衝撃波による統計加速をどう組み合わせていくかは今後の課題である。研究会のまとめとして集録を発行した。また、各分担者はそれぞれの分担課題について既に今年度においても多数の論文を発表した。
