Research Abstract	全地球的規模に分布した各観測点での絶対時刻精度を数十m秒以内に保てるGPS衛星信号受信システムを内蔵した信頼性の高い安定した観測データ記録装置を開発し、グローバルな宙空環境変動観測用の半自動記録システムの開発と実用化が本研究の目的であった。この目的を達成することによって、地球規模に配置された50点以上の観測点間の相対的な時間差を1秒以内に確保し、太陽風擾乱により発生したsc/si変動などの過渡現象やDP2やULF波動の侵入過程や電磁圏内の伝播過程を解明・検証することが科学的な目標でもある。平成13年度は、全体会議(全員)及び開発会議で、本研究に関する方針を確認し、分担等の具体的な作業日程を決め、また、開発検討等の為の打合わせ・会議は適宜開催した。次に、電源の供給の困難な地域での対策と太陽パネルと鉛蓄電池(消耗品費)とを組み合わせた、省力化を充分に考慮したシステム設計が設計された。また、大容量の鉛蓄電池を組み込んだ無停電電源(消耗品費)を応用すした省力型のシステムの検討もなされた。さらに、GPS衛星信号受信器(消耗品費)を用いたミリ秒以下の精度での絶対時刻記録方式を応用し、記録装置に組み込んだ同精度の秒信号の記録方式を完成させた。最後に、データ収録システムを設計した後、電源対策を施し、GPS計時装置を組み入れた、フラッシュメモリーカード(650Mbyte)を記録媒体とするCPU(消耗品費)によるシステムコントロールできうる省電力型の半自動観測記録システムを試作した。
