| Research Abstract |
本研究は、中国における動物の主要原虫感染症の浸潤・流行状況を明らかにし、日本の輸入検疫体制強化と中国の原虫病診断技術の向上と普及に資することを最終目的とし、3ヶ年にわたり以下の手順で実施される。(1)中国における動物の主要原虫感染症の流行状況に関する聞き取り調査ならびに文献サーベイ;(2)小規模な野外調査地域の設定と予備調査;(3)本格的な野外調査(血清学的診断とDNA診断);(4)各種原虫の培養・分離・同定;(5)分離株の生物学的性状解析;(6)分離株株の遺伝子解析;(7)現地に適した診断・予防法の確立;(8)日本の輸入検疫関連機関への適切な助言を行うための報告書の作成。本年度に得られた主な成績は以下の通りである。
1)ウマバベシア、ウシバベシア、イヌバベシア、ネオスポラ、トキソプラズマ感染症に対する組換えタンパク質を抗原とした血清学診断法を確立した。2)中国新彊・東北両地区の主要産業動物である馬・牛・羊を対象に馬バベシア、牛ネオスポラ・クリプトスポリジウム・住血原虫感染症について疫学調査を行った。3)中国南京地方におけるイヌバベシア感染症の疫学調査を行った。
