大腸癌の血行性転移の予知に関する研究(血管新生遺伝子CD105,VEGF等の解析)

| Research Abstract |
【背景】近年生活の欧米化に伴つて、大腸癌の罹患率が急増している。大腸癌の予後規定因子のうち、もっとも重要なものとして、肝転移に代表される血行性転移が挙げられ、これは血管新生の複雑なメカニズムによって多元的に制御されている。CD105は、新生血管に限局して発現し、既存の血管には発現しないため、新生血管密度の測定における有用性が報告されている。
【目的】本研究では、大腸癌の臨床検体におけるCD105の蛋白質及びmRNA発現と臨床病理学的因子との関連を検討した。
【対象と方法】大腸癌組織115例のパラフイン切片を用いて血管密度を測定し、血管密度の高い群(high MVD)と低い群(low MVD)に分類して、臨床病理学的因子について両群を比較検討した。
【結果】リンパ節転移、肝転移、VEGFの発現について、high MVD群ではlow MVD群より有意に高頻度であった。
【今後の展望】今後は症例を当初の目標である200例まで集積するとともに、更にmRNA発現と臨床病理学的因子との関連まで掘り下げて検討していく予定である
