Research Abstract |
The target of research is finding out the knowledge of the state of the information support for elderly people, disabled person, etc. The enforcement and result of this research are summarized to the following five. (1) I investigated the computerization to all villagers of Yamada-village, and performed one evaluation to computerization of an aging society. I was able to find the subject of future local computerization from the results of an investigation of their computer use situation or their investigation of change of consciousness. (2) I executed a qualitative investigation through the home visit and the event participation, etc. In Yamada-village, the person using a computer, and those who do not use are beginning to separate clearly. (3) I got the hint of education in a community from signs that the college students and housewives support elderly people. (4) With disabled person support, I carried out cooperation support with the volunteer, utilized IT, and discovered the possibility of new support of a healthy person and a disabled person. Moreover, I held a personal computer volunteer training lecture and symposium, and built the opportunity of interactive opinion exchange. (5) I investigated information support apparatus and information accessibility. Moreover, I arranged and summarized the problem which became clear with the actual support using a screen leader, the mail for visually impaired persons, etc. It is expected that the result of this research is utilized as data of computerization also including elderly people or the disabled person.
