Research Abstract

社会の意志決定手続きは、実現可能な選択肢に関する社会構成員の選好や態度を表明させ、それらを集約するもの、と一般的には捉えることができる。国際社会における決定手続きも同様である。本研究では、社会の決定手続きを、杜会の構成員の選好プロファイルの集合から選択肢の集合への関数として、数学的に定式化し、Social Choice Functions(社会的選択関数)と呼ぶ。本年度は、純粋交換経済のケースについて、すなわち私的財のみが複数存在し、財の生産がないケースについて、Strategy-Proofness(戦略的選好表明を抑止する社会的選択関数の性質)、Pareto-EfficiencyおよびMinimal Consumption Condition(全ての消費者が最低限の量を消費することを保証する社会的選択関数の性質)を同時に満たす社会的選択関数の存在可能性ついて研究した。Minimal Consumption ConditionはIndividual Rationalityの条件とは、数学的に独立であるが、実質的にはずっと弱い条件である。その結果として、以下のことを証明した。
There is social choice function satisfying strategy-proofness, Pareto-efficiency, and Minimal Consumption Condition on the classical, homothetic, and smooth preferences.
現在この結果を論文としてまとめ、学術誌へ投稿するための準備中である。
