| Research Abstract |
本年度は以下の研究を行った。まず通信スケジューリングをグラフを利用してモデル化する。モデルに現実のスケジューリングの特色を反映させるために、現技術の調査を行った。この問題への応用が強く期待される重み付け辺彩色問題を一般グラフに対して効率よく解くアルゴリズムは存在しないと予想されるので、少し限定されたグラフ、即ち木や直並列グラフに対して効率よいアルゴリズムを開発成功した。それらの成果を以下の論文でまとめ、国際会議で発表した。

また、限定されたグラフに対して効率よいアルゴリズムや近似アルゴリズムや確率的アルゴリズム等の調査も行った。今年度に購入したパーソナルコンピュータに現在知られているアルゴリズムの理論的評価および計算機による実験的シミュレーションを行い、各手法によって得られるデータを分析した。また各手法の効率を理論と実験両方で検証した。
