Research Abstract

拠点の整備状況
本拠点を中核として、ナノテクファウンドリ、21世紀COEに係る実践ナノ化学および自己組織化物理の2拠点などを統合した「ナノ理工学研究機構」が、平成15年12月に設立され、文字通りの中核的処点としての体制が整った。
研究成果
各個研究に加えて、チーム内外の共同研究を督励し、また、成果をプロトタイプ(PT)として形にする研究課題5件を選定して、第3回公開シンポジウムにおいて発表した。以下、グループ(G)毎に共同研究を中心に成果をまとめる。
<ナノ物性G>
大泊研:・Siの酸化過程を原子スケールで再現するシミュレータを開発し(PT研究)、熱成長SiO_2膜に存在する未知の秩序性の実体の解明、に成功。・ナノ構造と発光蛋白質の相互作用の解析(共同-星野研)。・ナノ構造配列形成工程の簡素化によりナノ電子銃配列形成(PT研究)。・100nmの精度で生体分子を基板上に配列させる技術を開発し、従来不可能な条件下で蛋白質間相互作用の一分子観察に成功(共同-船津研)。・世界のオンリーワン技術であるシングルイオン注入法を用いて、分析機器の絶対感度較正用標準試料作成を開始(企業との共同研究)。
川原田研:・ダイヤモンド上への酵素やDNA固定化技術を応用した電解質溶液ゲートFET酵素センサ開発に成功し、DNAハイブリダイゼーションによる電位検出(世界初)。・カーボンナノチューブ厚膜(50μm以上)配向成長技術を開発し、触媒金属の厚み制御により、単層、多層の構造制御にも成功(共同-大泊研、世界初)。
星野研:・ナノ構造配列による分子認識の基礎として、蛋白質とナノ構造基板間の相互作用を理論的に計算し、基板の疎/親水性と水溶性蛋白質の吸着過程を解析(共同-大泊研)。
<ケミカルナノプロセスG>
逢坂研:・磁気記録材料の研究開発において,高飽和磁束密度を有する電析CoFe膜の保磁力低減に成功。また、Co/Pd垂直媒体のPdシード層を置換めっき法により形成し、その記録再生特性を改善(PT研究)。・超小型燃料電池の試作セルによる発電試験に成功し、最大出力密度0.78mW/cm^2を達成(共同-庄子研)。
黒田研:・高規則性の金属骨格メソポーラス材料の研究開発を行い、メソ構造の規則性を左右する因子(還元剤の種類、金属の触媒活性および反応速度)を解明、高規則性メソ構造の作製プロセスを確立(共同-逢坂研)。
西出研:・有機分子のシリコン基板上への規則配置を目指し、ナノ寸法ポリスチレン微粒子や有機ラジカル高分子の配列に成功(共同-大泊研)。・高分子ポルフィリン錯体を用いた酸素富化膜マスクの実用化を目指し、大面積・大流量での酸素富化空気の取り出しを実証(PT研究)。
<バイオマイクロシステムG>
松本研:・DNA等の生体関連物質の分析システムのマイクロシステム化を目指して、検出装置としてのチップスキャナーの開発を行い、目標感度をクリアーした。
庄子研/船津研:・化学反応や生化学反応の状態を計測して精密に制御するマイクロセルの試作、機能評価を行い、実際の用途を意識したシステム設計の基礎を確立。・生体分子やオルガネラを、蛍光顕微鏡を使って高感度に検出し、チップ内のマイクロ流路を使って分離する装置の開発。・ナノホールを用いて1分子レベルの生体分子間相互作用を検出する技術の開発(共同-大泊研)。・温感性ハイドロゲルのゾルゲル変換を利用した流体の制御を可能にする2次元のマトリックス型可変マイクロ流路を作製(PT研究)。
<ナノ理工学基礎G>
堀越研:・化合物半導体ナノ構造製作技術の開発を進め、寸法精度のきわめて高い量子ドット格子および量子細線の実現、実験結果に整合する励起子モデルの構築、ガラス基板上へのGaN多結晶成長とその紫外領域の光電子放出用陰極としての応用、などに成功。・新しいナノ構造林料としてのC_<60>のエピタキシャル薄膜の研究をすすめ、Alの添加により応用上重要な機械的強度の著しい増大に成功。
大場研:・基礎理論として、ナノデバイスの置かれている実状況をモデル化した環境中の量子系を量子化する問題を分析。・Siに数10nm間隔でリン原子配列を構成する核スピン量子コンピュータ実現への基礎的分析として、この量子系におけるデコヒーレンスの問題、及びq-bits演算の可能性を解析。
