Current Status of Research Progress
2: Research has progressed on the whole more than it was originally planned.
Reason
I am exceedingly happy for the support of my research adviser, Dr. Yasuhide Nakamura for allowing me to rediscover my passion and letting me discover the other facets of disaster management in Japan, US and Palau. My immersion activities in Sendai and Iwate made me more confident in the skills that I really want to develop myself with. I believe, other than the knowledge that I acquired in Japan and the US, I have had the opportunity of applying all the theories when I had my professional internship in Palau. I believe I have achieved a lot in 2014.

| Strategy for Future Research Activity |
This year, I am planning to write and publish two more papers. I am planning two write about the development of policies of disaster education in Palau. And I want to write about an article about the assessment of NGO Programs in handing people with disabilities in a town in Iwate. Moreover, I wish to present these papers in the International Conference on Education (Disaster and Emergency Education) in Canada in June 2015. Also, I would like to help my host adviser in managing the activities for the Int’l Conference on Maternal and Child Health in Cameroon in September 2015.
