本年度は、液体クロマトグラフ－タンデム型質量分析装置（LC-MS/MS）等を用いて、多様な臭素系・リン系難燃剤を対象とした一斉分析法を構築した。また、ゲル浸透クロマトグラフィーとin vitroバイオアッセイ（CALUX）を組み合わせ、試料中活性物質の分画法を確立するとともに、二次元ガスクロマトグラフ飛行時間型質量分析計（GCxGC-ToFMS）による活性関連物質の網羅分析システムを構築した。さらに前年度の室内ダスト調査において高い内分泌撹乱活性を示した電子・電気機器廃棄物（e-waste）処理地域を重点調査対象に、難燃剤やダイオキシン様物質（DRCs）等の環境分布の解明とヒトへの曝露リスク評価および活性寄与物質のプロファイル解析を試みた。具体的には、e-waste処理施設および野焼き場周辺の土壌や河川底質から、高濃度の各種難燃剤やDRCsおよびダイオキシン様活性を検出し、不適切なe-waste処理活動に伴う環境汚染の実態と物質分布の特徴を明らかにした。さらに、e-waste野焼き場の土壌等について、バイオアッセイによるダイオキシン様活性（Bio-TEQs）が、化学分析に基づくTEQsよりもはるかに高いことを発見し、未同定のダイオキシン様活性物質の存在を指摘した。加えてGCxGC-ToFMSによる土壌試料の網羅分析を行い、ミックスハロゲン化ジベンゾフラン（PXDFs）を高濃度で検出するとともに、それらが未知活性物質の一部であることを明らかにした。CALUXを用いたヒト母乳試料のスクリーニング調査でも、e-waste処理地域のリサイクル作業従事者から高いダイオキシン様活性を検出した。またDRCsの化学分析により、ヒトの母乳から初めて臭素化ジベンゾフラン（PBDFs）を検出するとともに、ダスト経由の取込がPBDFsの主な曝露ルートであることを示唆した。乳児に対する一日当りのTEQ取込量は最大33 pg/kg/dと試算され、大半の母乳はWHOの許容摂取量を超過していたことからリスクが懸念された。
