| Research Abstract |
At a time when, school children's growing disinterest in the sciences has been noted, it is evermore necessary to engage them in the science technologies ; nurture their inquisitiveness towards nature ; and expand their logical thinking and creative abilities.
It is composed of five research items described in the above-mentioned purpose, and the research project adopted the research topic of 232 totals in five years, and promoted the research. When the fruits of research is brought together, it becomes as follows.
1) In each research item, the research that relations with an educational front are deep was actively developed, and a lot of educational practice (382 like the development of teaching materials, the class of opening to the public, and the open lecture, etc.) that accompanied this was developed.
2) Not only the specialist of the education but also the research representative adopted for the research project consists of the researcher in a state-of-the-art field in many fields, and 410 academic conference presentation and thesis submission, etc. 220 academic society magazine contribution etc.. are introduced to many fields by this respect.
3) Moreover, the homepage of this project where "The research process and the fruit of research are connected to an educational front" was managed to the motto exceeds page 400, the e-mail magazine counts No. 17(The number of total pages is 288), and the full-text search and the research result data base (1238) of the adoption problem list are operating, too.
4) It came to work going side by side with research promotion in this project as a trial by the search for the point of contact and cooperation named "Brain Science" to show remarkable progress and SSH (Super Science High School) recently, and to show the location and directionality in the average of further development of the characteristic region research.
