Research Abstract

This study is performed with three almost following courses, and it may be said that I put constant result in each. They are joint research of archives, shsring research of published historical materials and individual study from each viewpoint. According to this study the results is as follows.
i Our study circle visited many archives in various places from August, 2002 to November, 2005 and collected either materials or reproduced materials which have been recorded kaoh (signature). Materials having kaoh are almost a thing before the 17th century, and there are many things belonging to a precious material. Therefore we can confirm prototypes of kaoh. Materials which we printed in a report recorded in influential materials.
ii To confirm convincing materials having kaoh, materials having kaoh of the people in particular in published many literatures is important. But it is difficult to confirm the original material in a short term in them or the original material is already lost. We shared the self-governing body history edited in each prefectures,such as "Heian Ibun" "Kamakura Ibun" and investigated there and collected many materials.
iii From the viewpoint of occupation / religion / woman / area / study / kaof and seal, it is the result that was able to deepen a study individually while depending on findings. Four papers are printed in this report.
