Research Abstract |
1.Three-dimensional adaptation of a picture for students with visual impairments Tactile picture was developed in Anteros Museum in Italy. In cooperation with the product team, we analyzed about the expression technology and the theory of tactile picture. Expression Technology and that theory for iconographic image education students with visual impairments were compiled. 2.Adaptation to a tactile picture of Japanese work Possibility of adaptation of a Japanese picture work was examined. A Japanese ancient work "Kanagawa oki namiura" was chosen. It was adapted based on diverse principles. 3.Development of three dimensional work making systems which utilized a computer We developed 3 dimensions of shape measurement devices (3 dimensions of scanners) and control software were developed. With the device, reproduction and processing of a tactile picture works were enabled. 4.Development of a teaching method of tactile pictures on students with visual impairment Teaching materials and the teaching method were developed to promote understanding about "Compression" and "Stratification" of a tactile picture to students with visual impairment and blindness.
