Research Abstract

衝撃波粒子加速の素過程および関連する物理過程についての理論的、および観測的研究を行い、次の成果を得た:
○活動銀河核での相対論的ジェット形成について新たにWien fireballモデルを提唱し、その詳細な物理的過程を明らかにした。
○衝撃波フェルミ加速過程を確率過程として記述し時間依存する解の特徴を明らかにした。
○太陽コロナ加熱についての非線形アルフェン波動の寄与を明らかにした。
○太陽フレアでの磁気リコネクション開始におけるヘリシティ(螺旋度)注入効果を定量的に明らかにした。
○地球前面定在衝撃波におけるイオン加速についてpre-dawnからpost-duskに至る広い領域での加速効率、エネルギースペクトルを初めて明らかにした。
○太陽系近傍の星間空間物質(VLISM)起源のヘリウムHe+イオンについて、その加速に重要な電磁流体乱流中のサイクロトロン共鳴成分は、彗星ピックアップイオンの場合のような自己励起型ではなく、太陽風に内在する乱流であることを示した。
○磁気リコネクション・スローショック形成における極薄電流層の役割を観測的に明らかにした。
