Research Abstract

This project was conducted toward efficient electrophosphorescence devices combined with a self-organized superlattice materials, lead halide-based layered peorvksite, and organic semiconductors. The results of this project are summarized as follows.
1.From transient photoluminescence measurement for lead bromide-based layered perovskites, which were prepared with aminoalkylnaphthalenes, enhance phosphorescence due to naphthalene chromophore in the layered perovskite was demonstrated to be caused by efficient energy transfer (Dexter-type) from exciton in the lead bromide semiconductor layer to, triplet excited state of the naphthalene chromophore.
2.The following new layered perovskites were successfully prepared, layered perovskites having 1)bifunctional chromophore combined triplet-sensitized benzophenone choromophore and emissive chromophore, 2)hole-transporting and emissive carbazole chromophore, and 3)p-conjugated polymers. Further, phosphorescence was observed in the new layered perovskites.
3.We successfully prepared lead halide-based layered perovskite thin films with emissive chromophores by using the Langmuir-Blodgett technique.
4.Electro phosphorescence was successfully observed in the try-layered device combined with the phosphorescent layered perovskite, electron-transporting oxadiazole, and hole-transporting copper phthalocyanine.
5.We found new organic-inorganic nanohybride as emissive material. The nanohybride was prepared by simaultaneous deposition. of organic semiconductor and rare-earth metal. In organic electroluminescent device using the nanohybrids, fairly efficient blue, green, red electoroluminescence was observed.
