Research Abstract

本年度では,昨年度の硝子体の病態生理に関する研究成果をまとめ、硝子体網膜境界面の形態や硝子体の生化学的検索、硝子体と密接な相互関係を持つ網膜の機能検査などによる評価の結果を報告した(IOVS 2003, 2004, Ophthalmology 2003, 2004)。硝子体網膜境界面の研究の中で、網膜内境界膜に関する研究は従来よりわれわれが行ってきたものであり、本年度には網膜神経線維層に対する影響について光干渉断層計と走査レーザー検眼鏡を用いた研究を行った。
さらに加齢黄斑変性を中心とした研究を行った。実際に加齢黄斑変性の症例に網膜色素上皮-脈絡膜を切除し、黄斑部に移動した。本症例について術後1か月から1年間、定期的にOCTによる網膜厚および色素上皮層の観察、走査レーザー検眼鏡による移植部位の網膜感度、蛍光眼底造影、黄斑部局所ERGなどの網膜機能検査を行い近々報告予定である。さらに、数十例の脈絡膜新生血管抜去術を行い、炎症反応の程度により得られた組織の病理学的分類を行った(16年度、眼炎症学会で報告予定)。一方、多数の脈絡膜新生血管抜去により得られた血管膜に付着する網膜色素上皮細胞の培養を組織工学講座の協力を得て行い、培養された細胞が網膜色素上皮の特性を持つことが確認された(報告準備中)。培養された網膜色素上皮は、名古屋大学工学部の協力で磁性微粒子によりシート状になり、細胞移植への道が一歩近づいた(特許出願中)。
