| Research Abstract |
主目的は、英語学力に及ぼす利き手の効果を特定することであり、現在、広島大学生2,000名のデータを分折中である。全体では、有意な相関が得られず、専攻と性という変数を加えて、分析を継続中である。遺伝効果が現れる可能性は低く、環境(学習)変数に転向しなければならない状況である。
英文読解を困難にする学習変数に関する研究としては、"Reading potential and dyslexia"がInternational Journal of Language and Communication (Southern Denmark University Press)に掲載される。また、広島大学生の英語語彙認知と英語書字規則の効果について、"A phonological dyslexic pattern of English word recognition in Japanese students"が投稿審査中である。さらに、英字と音声と意味の関係を検討し、"Written frequency, pronounceability, and the burden of meaning in naming Arabic/kanji numerals and syllabic hiragana"が投稿審査中である。なお、英字の読み書きの心理言語学的研究として、"Letter-by-letter reading and writing in romaji"を投稿準備中である。
