Research Abstract |
1.Purpose and Plan of research The purpose of this study is to research a process of forming new assemblage of stone tools in Holocene in Far East Asia through examining the materials in that area concretely. For this purpose we prepared tow major viewpoints. One is a researching the stone instrument assemblage and the technical bases of the first half of Holocene in China, Mongolia, Northern Siberia, Far East, the Korean peninsula and Japan. The other is researching the development of stone source mine and the change of delivering system that supported a technical change and diffusion of a stone instrument. 2.Research and publish the Results 1)Study of micro-blade industry in the Enisei Valley, Eastern Siberia 2)Technical analysis of wedge shaped micro-blade cores in Northern Kyushu, Japan 3)Researching of micro-blade industries in Korea 4)Chronological study of Paleolithic in Korea 5)Researching of Neolithic stone tools in Southern Korea 6)Making a list of site with obsidian tools in Norther
