| Research Abstract |
(1)本研究(基盤研究C 14510630)の計画のうち、大きな目標の一つは、これまで行ってきた「談話標識の歴史的発達」についての研究成果をまとめ、海外の出版社から本として出版することだった。平成15年度にデータの大幅な見直しを行い、つづく本年度は新しい分析結果を踏まえ、改訂版の執筆を夏に終了、2004年12月23日にアムステルダムJohn Benjamins社からJapanese Discourse Markers (Pragmatics and beyond new series 132)を刊行した。
(2)2004年9月26-29日、The Second Oxford-Kobe Linguistics Seminar : International Symposium on the History and Structure of Japanese(at Kobe Institute, St.Catherine' College, University of Oxford)において、"Evolution of 'd' connectives -- A productive process and its motivation : From a histrical pragmatic study of Japanese"をポスター発表した、文法の歴史的変遷について先端の研究をする人たちが、日本国内外から集まり、研究発表する場であったので、意義深いセミナーであった。
(3)2005年3月20日、第15回社会言語科学会研究大会(於:早稲田大学)に於いて「歴史語用論(Historical Pragmatics)という視点:日本語の研究例」の口頭発表を慶応大学鈴木亮子氏とともに行った。言語学の新領域を紹介すると共に、自分達の研究成果の発表となった。
(4)2005年7月開催のIPrA(於:イタリア)大会に申請していたシンポジウム"Historical changes in Japanese"が採択された。パネル参加者・ディスカッサントと連絡を取りつつ、準備を進めている。
