Research Abstract |
1.A necessary condition for two links to be transformed into each other by a finite sequence of self Δ moves is given by two integral invariants induced from the Conway polynomial. 2.The above necessary condition is also a sufficient condition for a class of 2 component links. 3.By the above condition, all two component links with 7 crossings or less are classified and the smallest numbers of self A moves which transforms one link into another in each class are determined.
